Team with Competence and Experience
Hardly any other Fit Reisen member knows our product portfolio as well as Carolin. She has been on board since 1997 and proves her passion for hotels and wellness holiday and health programs every day: “The constant optimization of our portfolio and the constant new trends is what makes this multifaceted job so special for me.” Whether at the negotiating table at the ITB International Tourism Fair in Berlin or at the biannual catalog production – , the product team works every day to ensure that every customer finds the best program for their own personal break under the guidance of Carolin.
How do you become a hotel purchaser? Somehow this all happened quickly, as Karo found her way to Fit Reisen after her studies. Today, the tourism economist is enthroned as the central point of contact at the large tourism fair ITB in Berlin and can hardly handle the onslaught of the hoteliers alone. “My dream job,” she enthuses, even if the negotiations are not always easy and Karo must pay strict attention to the adherence of Fit Reisen quality criteria. But when she gets on the plane to see what she has been talking about firsthand in Sri Lanka, Thailand or Greece, she always looks forward to her trip.
She has been in the business for a long time and knows every trick in the book: Our Sabine from customer service. “Here I can offer personal service, that’s really important to me”. She knows countless clients well and advises them on trends in health tourism and makes recommendations, rescues stranded travelers and ensures that guests are happy, with individual offers, ingenious itineraries and a very personal service. Her greatest reward: Postcards from satisfied customers – many of which are on her desk. And sometimes even she gets a visit from enthusiastic guests whom she happily invites them to share their experiences.
First France, then the whole of Europe: Francophile Cornelia has quickly climbed up the corporate ladder starting as a trainee for the then new French market – which happens frequently at Fit Reisen. Today, as head of the international subsidiary SpaDreams, she is responsible for a team of 20 colleagues who advise customers in ten languages on destinations around the world. “The international aspect and the multicultural team” appeal to her most about her job. She is therefor a good fit at SpaDreams, as the world is still so big. And she is already flirting with the idea of adding new team members from Portugal, Norway, and Finland.
Daniela has been with Kurz-mal-weg.de, the German portal for short breaks, for more than eight years. She is part of the Fit Reisen Group since 2016. “It was a culture shock in the beginning,” she says about the change. But it’s fun to turn the place on its head and be involved everywhere. First, the connection to the Fit Reisen Group had to be achieved, bringing Kurz-mal-weg.de from travel agent to organizer and now the website, which was completely rebuilt and optimized. Anyone can do anything here, provided they tackle it and want to take responsibility. Daniela and her colleagues in the Leipzig office have proven this time and time again.
It should look modern and appealing, be informative and, of course, encourage buying: the brand world of the Fit Reisen Group. Yeliz, who started as an intern, is now head of marketing. She is also comfortable in the digital world, she knows every system and every program. She has felt at home at Fit Reisen since day one, almost as if it were her own company. This pays off: the company is growing steadily, she can switch and manage it as she wants, and she constantly gains new tasks. Yeliz likes that: “I’m never bored”.
