First Health & Wellness Media Days
At the world’s largest and leading travel trade show, ITB 2011 in Berlin, the launch of the first ever ‘Health & Wellness Media Days’ event proved to be a great success.
From March 9th-10th, 30 international top hotels and resorts presented their specialties in the line of health and wellness products and services. The European Spa Association, as well as representatives from the tourism ministries of Cyprus, Hungary, Tunisia, Korea, and the Thuringia Tourist Board held keynotes concerning trends and guidelines for the field of health and wellness travel. All members were on hand to answer questions from the many enthusiastic reporters and informed audience members about new developments and trends in the health and wellness industry, as well as propositions concerning future projects for the upcoming years, and received plenty of positive media coverage from the press.
The first ‘Health & Wellness Media Days’, organized by C&C and Fit Reisen at the ITB 2011 in Berlin, were a great accomplishment. Many interesting ideas and discussions were exchanged; lots of socializing and moments of laughter were enjoyed. But pictures are worth a thousand words.
There were a number of interesting and informative presentations and interviews on the subject matter of Ayurveda, Thalasso, Health, and Spa. High standards of quality and customer satisfaction were stated by industry members throughout the ‘Health & Wellness Media Days’, which was convincing and created trust in the audience.
‘The first Health & Wellness Media Days at the ITB 2011 were a great success’, Claudia Wagner confirmed, managing director of Fit Reisen. ‘We wanted to offer our partners a platform to present themselves, share ideas, and respond to the needs of the market. This certainly was well accomplished’, she states.
